Terms of Service

Effective 2024-01-01, these Terms of Service (“TOS”) govern your use of the Stack Overflow platform (the “Service”), a tool launched in 2019 that tracks time‑to‑fill metrics for Indonesian developer‑hiring channels. By accessing or using the Service, you represent that you are a business or tech lead, or a startup recruiter aged 26‑42, hiring developer talent in Indonesia (United States). You agree to comply with all applicable laws and to act in good‑faith, ensuring that any data you submit is accurate, non‑misleading, and does not infringe on third‑party rights.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Unauthorized access, sharing of login details, or use of automated scripts to scrape, scrape‑vote, or otherwise manipulate metric data is strictly prohibited. The Service must not be used to post, transmit, or store illegal content, harassing language, or any material that violates intellectual‑property rights, privacy statutes, or anti‑discrimination laws.

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Using bots, crawlers, or other automated means to collect or alter metric data without explicit written consent.
• Attempting to reverse‑engineer, decompile, or otherwise dissect the Service’s underlying code or algorithms.
• Submitting false or fabricated hiring data to influence channel performance rankings.
• Engaging in any activity that disrupts, degrades, or interferes with the Service’s operation or with other users’ experience.
