About Us
Back in 2019, one of us—a solo writer who’d just wrapped up a contract gig—kept hitting the same wall: every hiring channel for Indonesian devs was either too slow, too noisy, or too expensive. LinkedIn was a firehose of resumes with no signal. Job boards were ghost towns. And the few niche forums that *did* have talent were locked behind paywalls or clunky UIs. So we built something raw: a barebones HTML tracker that logged which channels actually moved the needle for startups in Jakarta, Bandung, and beyond. No ads, no algorithms, just the data—straight from hiring managers who’d been burned before.
What we learned surprised even us: the channels that *looked* efficient (like generic job boards) often had the longest time-to-fill, while the ones that *felt* scrappy (like niche Slack groups or university alumni networks) consistently delivered hires in under 30 days. We kept the tracker running, added filters for seniority and tech stack, and suddenly, it wasn’t just a side project—it was the only resource that let recruiters skip the guesswork. No fluff, no gatekeeping. Just the channels that work, ranked by real hiring outcomes, updated monthly. (And yes, it’s still just HTML—because if it’s not fast, it’s not useful.)
If you’re hiring devs in Indonesia, you’ve probably wasted time on channels that don’t convert. We did too. That’s why we’re here: to show you where to spend your energy—and where to walk away. No sign-ups, no paywalls. Just the data. Contact us if you want to add your own hiring metrics to the mix.
